ratiopharm was established in Poland in 1997. The Polish market is not an easy one: it is 90% generic, and the majority of the generic companies are domestic ones. In addition we entered the market quite late (other international companies were there in 1990), so we had a lot to do.

Today, ratiopharm is ranked in 55th position in Poland (among 500 companies). We have doubled our turnover every year since 1997, and tripled our sales force since that time. Our goal is to be in the Top Ten within 7 years.

Our products are indicated mainly in the cardiovascular, CNS and pain therapeutic areas. The portfolio is constantly being widened in order to offer the most frequently prescribed molecules in clinical practice and meet the needs of physicians, pharmacists and patients.
