ratiopharm Latvia

ratiopharm products are well-known in Latvia from the beginning of the 90-ties, when ratiopharm was one of the first West-European pharmaceutical companies entering the pharmaceutical market after renewal of independence. Since early 2006 ratiopharm has been using services from Tamro SIA, a leading distributor of healthcare products in Latvia. In this framework ratiopharm has established an own marketing division to deal with issues concerning authorization, planning and promotion of ratiopharm products in Latvia.
At present ratiopharm offers medical products in 17 different INN substance groups and in 38 pharmaceutical forms and strengths in Latvia. Sales have currently reached 2.2 % in values and 3.5% in packs of the local generic product’s market. For the coming years we plan to further increase our active product portfolio by introducing new generic pharmaceutical products from various ATC groups which will help to strengthen and further enhance our position in Latvian pharmaceutical market.

Our range includes pharmaceutical products - among others - from following major therapeutic groups: cardiovascular, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, gastroenterological, antidiabetic agents, and pharmaceuticals against airway diseases.

Some products in our portfolio claim leading positions in their respective pharmacotherapeutic group showing that they are well appreciated both by doctors, pharmacists, and patients.
